From the beautiful yet rugged terrain, the dashing wild Horses, the quaint mountain cabins, and gourmet meals all throughout, No expense will be spared in providing you the most memorable weekend experience possible. So far we’ve heard things like “Once in a lifetime” and “Life Changing” come from the mouths of clients who get this experience. The group sizes are limited to 4 to ensure everyone has the best possible experience, gets the most attention, and can capture the best possible images with limited interference. Your Guide is Professional Wildlife Photographer Caleb Hoover. Any and all questions you have for him are fair game! The locations we will be shooting at are carefully selected and scouted ahead of time. There are very few people out at these locations, meaning your photos will be one of a kind unlike many places in the area such as Yellowstone garnering millions of excited tourists yearly! That’s why this experience has been dubbed “The Beauty of Yellowstone without the crowds.” Even better, you have the option to extend your stay past the 4 days. The Mustangs
What Other Subjects might we encounter?
The wildlife around Double E Ranch is as diverse as the breathtaking landscape itself. Visitors can expect to encounter majestic wild Mustangs roaming from the valleys to the peak of the Pryor Mountains, a symbol of the untamed spirit of the west. Black Bears are abundant across the range and a Grizzly or two have even been spotted from time to time. Elk, Pronghorn, Mule Deer, and Prairie Dogs can often be seen from the road, while Bighorn Sheep traverse the rocky slopes nearby. The ranch is also home to an array of birdlife, including Golden Eagles and Prairie Falcons soaring above, Dusky and Ruffed Grouse darting through the undergrowth, and many species of songbirds adding their melodies to the tranquil air. Coyotes and Foxes can occasionally be spotted in the early morning or twilight hours, adding to the sense of wild authenticity that defines the ranch. For those with a keen eye and a bit of luck, there’s even the chance to glimpse a rare mountain lion or bobcat, quietly passing through this remote and pristine environment. At Double E Ranch, every day offers a new opportunity to witness the rich tapestry of Montana’s wildlife in its natural habitat!
